Ridgeview Electric was unable to schedule the new ceiling fan installation prior to the new carpet installation. The ceiling fans will be installed on Friday, August 26. The library will be closed on that day.
The OMNI Libraries consortium that we belong to for digital book downloads keeps growing. New libraries continue to join as the demand for eBooks continues. As of August 31, there will be 48 libraries participating. Each library receives an allotment of funds to purchase titles, so the collection grows as more libraries join. There is still no target date when the Kindle will be compatible with the eBook collection, other than “later this year”.
